Ai seems to have gone backwards in recent years, it is good that some developers can still write good AI routines. Also reacting to player behavior good or bad. As well as fighting mutants and looting them for parts. Alife is the future of gaming, AI that can perform flanking and other things like dragging bodies away from campfires automatically, and looting corpses for weapons and ammunition. This is far better Ai that other games like Arma 3 with very amateur developers. The Stalker 2 game will use Alife 2.0, this is an advanced AI that will be able to operate offline, and events will happen in areas even when the player is not around to witness them in person. I wonder if the PC version will have mods springing up. This adds all of the maps from Shadow of Chernobyl, as well as Call of Pripyat. This has over 50 maps and a very long and complex storyline. There are so many mods for Stalker that add many new maps and stories. That would make for very good gameplay for sure. The Cordon village is included, but looks even more desolate than it was before, is this set before the events of Stalker Clear Sky? When the second massive emission happened and created the zone? That would be very interesting to see the zone just after the creation of the anomalous areas, when the zone as at the most dangerous stage, before the anomalous zones where mapped and safe zones and paths were known about. Other Stalker games had different maps with loading screens to transition from one map to another, but this will be very different.

This game will be an immersive open-world with seamless travel from one area to another, this is great.

It would be great if it was set after Stalker: Call of Pripyat, and included the Stalker`s fights to capture Pripyat after the hero shut down the brain scorcher. This might be a soft-reboot of the previous game or a completely new story.

This has been announced as an Xbox exclusive, this will include Strelok, the protagonist of the previous game, Stalker Shadow of Chernobyl, who also appears in Call of Pripyat and Clear sky.
